Qué onda! Ṣapai masma? I am CR Dean (she/her), and I am a second-year PhD student in English at the University of Florida who is researching representations, perceptions, stereotypes, and their effects on minorities through a transatlantic lens that encompasses American and British/Victorian literature. My overlapping areas of research are African American literature, and Indigenous literature. I assist with department research and began teaching in Fall 2024.

Aside from literature and research, my interests include video games (Smite, Valorant, Apex, and others), comic books, movies and TV shows, and making pottery!
